Guatemala Romantica
"Guatemala Romantica" is a project event that has the support of the International Association of Destination Wedding Professionals. The project is to bring the best wedding planners and specialized travel agents from the United States and Canada. The primary purpose is to promote Guatemala as a wedding destination to stakeholders from the United States and Canada.
This project also certifies Guatemalan companies that provide services for foreign weddings as well as an educational program with workshops and seminars to update on the main trends and resolve challenges in the industry.
The project consisted of 3 phases:

Phase 1
Educational program - An international certification for Guatemalan companies

Venue and services inspection- Guatemalan companies related to the wedding industry had the opportunity to show their venue, service, or product

Business Round tables between hosted buyers and Guatemala enterprises.
